Manna Ash is a jewellery activity by London designer Jane Atfield. These necklaces celebrate an eclectic range of techniques and materials, both handicraft and industrial, from casting bronze to wood turning, enamelling copper to latex dipping.

Using a documentary approach, the different series reflect the ‘joy of making ideas’. They are a work in progress, giving meaning to small objects worn close to the body.  Carrying stories and experiences, the necklaces encourage reflection and dialogue. The TreeLife collection explores ways of connecting trees to each other and to ourselves and celebrates biodiversity. Other series are influenced by place, family life and the passing of time. Materials are recycled and often reused from offcuts or surpluses.
